Indigiscape Indoor/Outdoor Exhibition

I had busy 4 days with bump in, exhibiton and bump out at Indigiscape Indoor Exhibition. The bump in of the sculpture exhibition is a lot of work, arranging 27 art works to look there best  and be in harmony with the whole exhibit. Although the exhibition is for 2 1/2 day the effort was worth it when so many people came to view all the artists work. It was a proud moment to see my hard work come to fruition and get positive feedback. I was delighted when my sculpture "Balance Within" was sold at the exhibition.  I am glad l have a photo of "Balance Within" which is a porcelain bowl with glaze which is suspended in a circle of palm seed sticks

Sculptors Queensland Indigiscape Indoor/Outdoor exhibition

I have finished 1 of 2 pieces for the Indigiscape Indoor/Outdoor exhibition. The 1st sculpture is an abstract shape of a woman that is jagged and hollowed like a burnt out base of a tree. A lot of my work is about the emotional and spiritual connection between the subject matters. This piece will be called "CHRYSALIS"  It was raku fired with Western Suburbs Clayworkers.
